This hotel suits me perfectly! I love the fitness center, heated swimming pool, and the coffee shop. On my first stay, the staff kindly helped me with late check-in. I recommend enjoying the M Club lounge for great snacks!

If you are staying around the Irvine area, location is great and the hotel is meets all your standard expectations from a Marriott hotel: clean, comfortable, and great facilities. And if booking through Booked.net, you can get affordable rates. I would definitely come back to this hotel, no questions asked.
Probably the parking lot of which you need to pay/day. They were not specific as to how parking worked, but apparently it is $9/day (when I stayed) if you are staying as a hotel guest and you can go in and out as much as you want. We originally thought it was $15 every time you came into the parking lot when reading online.

The hotel was spotless and first-rate, had cool views of the downtown. Secluded location was a plus. It was also really close to SNA airport and many great restaurants and an industrial park. The suite was well-kept, very well taken care of.

Wanted to use the shuttle for the fair 3 miles away but was told it could not be used for that. This was the hole reason I stayed their and the web sit says free shuttle service. Also things where closed down like the sushi bar for the weekend when they where fully booked very disappointing.

Great service.
Be prepared to tack on $12.99 if you wantInternet access and be prepared to tack on a little more parking. These are things you don't see until you get there.

Front desk staff were uncommonly welcoming, friendly, and had positive attitudes.
What I did not like. I was under the impression we could still order off the late night menu at the martini bar there in the lobby. Well, my wife and I were both wrong. We stepped up to the bar, stood there for like 10 minutes before the bartender realized he had no choice but to greet us; after he gave 3 pizzas to patrons at the bar. I asked to order something for my wife, he said the kitchen was closed. He offered fruit and chips, not enough for a prgnant woman wanting food, especially he after he brought out three fresh pizzas. We went to the front desk, asked where some places to eat were. The lady at the front desk seemed suspicious and disappointed that the bartender said we couldn't order anything to eat. Anyway, my wife and I ended up finding a good place to eat about 10 minutes away. Seems the bartender would've at least went an extra mile, especially for a pregnant woman. I worked in the food service industry for years, and learned what word-of-mouth can do..good or bad. So, don't expect the food service staff there to go the extra mile for you. Other than that, the rest of the staff there were great.

Last time we stopped we had a brand-new, functional room with the balcony, big screen and movies. The location was comfortable and stunning - ease of access to Cu Arena. Plus it was in a good area...

I loved the modern decor of the Irvine Marriott, especially the inviting lounge area where I enjoyed relaxing. The staff were attentive, helping me with directions and nearby attractions as a senior.
More accessible seating in dining area would help.

The Double Room was super comfy and clean, perfect for kicking back after exploring nearby local eats like KRISP Fresh Living and Il Fornaio! The lively bar area was a great spot to unwind after a long day.
Wifi was a no-show and the pool was a ghost town with no heads-up about it. Plus, the parking fee felt more like a hidden treasure hunt than a convenience!
